The chairperson of the Electoral Commission, madam Charlotte Osei says

we’ve implemented all the decisions and we are in a good place and so the
political parties will have the register at the end of this week. We will
probably have an approximately 15,800 names there about on the register
going into the elections.”
She further indicated that “special provisions have been made for
persons who may have difficulties verifying themselves with the biometric
devices. The list of polling stations would also be on our website because we
want to have high level of transparency.”
On issues of security and how the Electoral Commission is collaborating with the security agencies, the EC chairperson indicated that there’s a good partnership between them and all the necessary agencies adding that “we have shared these lists of all polling stations with the security agencies ahead of time.” Ghana goes to the polls on December 7 and the EC has given all assurances that it is in good standing to organize a credible, peaceful and fair election.
